Production Details
Casting a female-directed, surreal, dark comedy, ultra-low budget, feature-length indie film exploring mental health themes, inspired by films like “Eternal Sunshine” and “Amelie.” Production states:
- Cast and crew will be fully-vaccinated and masks will be required.
- A covid safety plan will be in place.
- Women-identifying, POC, and LGTBQ+ candidates encouraged to apply.
- Aside from the “South Asian / Indian” specified roles, applicants ages 18+ may apply for a role outside of the specified ethnicities/genders/ages indicated.
- Nationwide applicants who are willing to work as locals (travel and accommodations will not be provided) are welcome to apply.
- Note: Only submissions with pre-screens of the ATTACHED SIDES for each role will be considered.
Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations
Filming will take place in January and February 2022, primarily in Orange County, California as well as throughout Southern California.
Compensation & Union Contract Details
Non-Union; Professional Pay: $85 – $175/Daily
Rates are $175/day and $85/half day. Meals provided. Masks provided.

- Your availability for January/February 2022 for filming in Southern California
- Headshot (or headshot-type photo) (or link to your headshot / website)
- Link to your audition video using the appropriate Pre-Screen sides. After the sides, please be sure to provide a 30-60 second in-character answer to one of these improv prompts towards the of the video: “Tell me about yourself,” or “What brings you here,” or “How are you really doing?”
- Links to acting reel or relevant work samples (if any)
Deadlines / Timeline
Submission are accepted from now through November 15th, 2021.
Candidates who have been selected for the next round of auditions will be notified in November 2021.
