Nida Chowdhry’s Debut Feature Film “ANXIOUS.” Set To Premiere: A Bold Cinematic Exploration of Anxiety
Los Angeles, CA – June 13, 2024 – In the spirit of films like “Everything Everywhere All at Once” and “Polite Society,” Neederish Productions proudly presents “ANXIOUS.”, a surreal dark comedy debut feature by Pakistani-American filmmaker Nida Chowdhry. This film takes audiences on a fantastical journey through the mind of Ruby, a woman whose anxiety attack plunges her into a vivid journey, encountering various versions of herself.
“ANXIOUS.” will premiere at the prestigious Dances With Films Festival at the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre on Sunday, June 30th, at 2:00 PM.
Inspired by films like “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,” “Amelie,” and “Alice in Wonderland,” “ANXIOUS.” offers a visually striking narrative set in the colorful locales of Little Saigon and Little India in Orange County, California. The film showcases Chowdhry’s multifaceted talent as she assumes multiple roles: writer, director, producer, lead actor, and costume designer.
